Harrison, who joined Google in January 2018, is known for his extensive experience in the gaming industry, having worked for Sony, Microsoft's Xbox, and as an advisor for cloud gaming service Gaikai. Stadia failed to live up to its promise and struggled to gain traction as the service felt unfinished and was unable to attract enough users. In September, the company announced that Stadia would be completely shut down.
